Tomorrow’s CA technology today

Secure Office provides a full-featured certificate authority (CA) for specific application PKIs. Secure Office CA scales up to 60,000 users, supporting large demand for signing operations, PKI queries, and certificate requests. Secure Office Persys CA is designed for fault tolerance and component redundancy.

Integrated Certificate Publishing

Secure Office Persys CA provides an integrated directory. Every time you generate a smart card, the corresponding user certificate is automatically published to the database that will use it to authenticate the user throughout the PKI. Vendor purchased cards necessitate certificates being manually fetched or delivered on a disk and read into the database.

Ease of Deployment and Management

Secure Offiice Persys CA fits seamlessly into an organization's existing network infrastructure and works with standard applications such as Netscape Communicator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Lotus Domino, Microsoft IIS, and Netscape Enterprise Server. Using a distributed architecture, Secure Office can deploy multiple certificate authorities to handle high volume certificate requests.

Persys CA is cost-effective, requiring no upgrades or plug-ins for existing desktop applications and issuing both soft and hard certificates at substantially less cost than public certification authority services. Persys CA is designed for PKCS #10 certificate requests, PKCS #15 compliant EID cards (recently written into law as the standard for legally binding digital signature) and tokens and IPsec compliant firewalls and VPNs.

Persys CA publishes the industry standard X.509 v3 user certificates to the included LDAP directory, assuring interoperablility with PKIX compliant public key infrastructures, enabling open network PKI.
