Secure Office issues standard EID cards with public/private keys and digital certificates. Smart cards are validated by a Central Trust that manages user and role-based access to the encrypted Virtual Private Network. The VPN creates encrypted access tunnels to secure information in transit across the Internet. Access to specific areas of a protected network is controlled by defining tunnels to allow accesses as wide as router-to-router or as narrow as one user to one application.
