Secure Office File Encryption, using strong cryptography
such as 3DES, prevents anyone from reading your files even if they
manage to get them.
File encryption can operate automatically so you don’t
have to remember to encrypt and you don’t have to call up a special
program every time you want to decrypt a file for use. When a user
with the right card and PIN code opens an encrypted document, it
is decrypted automatically and transparently.
In automatic mode, files saved, moved or copied to
the encrypted folder are automatically encrypted and files moved/copied
FROM the folder can be either automatically decrypted or remain
encrypted, depending on your choice of settings.
Secure Office File Encryption is integrated into the
system so you don’t have any additional codes or passwords to use
with file encryption. The same smart card that authenticates you
for access to your PC activates the program automatically and carries
the encryption keys.
